Vijayananda Temple is a Buddhist temple situated in Sri Vijayananda Mawatha in Galle. This is the temple where Sir Henry Steel Olcott first observed the five principles of Buddhism and converted. It is the first dhamma school in Sri Lanka. It is also called Weliwatta Vijayananda Maha Viharaya and can be reached at Baddegama Road, Olcott Mawatha in Galle.
