Udagama Handhapan Ella Waterfall is situated in Udagama in the Ratnapura district, just 100 meters away from Udagama Duwili Ella Waterfall. It is 23 meters in height. The waterfall is hidden inside the jungle and could be difficult to find without the help of a guide. There is no proper access to this waterfall since a mini hydro project has diverted most of the the fall.

Getting to Udagama Handhapan Ella

From Ella take the Colombo – Batticaloa Highway and go past Bandarawela, Haputale, Pelmadulla, Ratnapura up until you reach Udagama. From here continue on the Udagama Road to reach Udagama Handhapan Ella Waterfall. There is a footpath from the road to the waterfall which is located inside the jungle.
