Seetha Kotuwa Falls is situated in Hasalaka in the Central Province. It is 60 meters in height and is formed by Gurulupotha Oya. The waterfall consists of several cascades. It is one of the places where King Ravana kept Seetha under captivity which is why the place is called Seetha Kotuwa ruins at Gurulupotha.

Getting to Seetha Kotuwa Falls

From Kandy take the Kandy-Mahiyangane-Padiyatalawa Highway and go past Digana, Teldeniya and Hunnasgiriya until Hasalaka to reach the Seetha Kotuwa Falls at Gurulupotha.
