Royal Colombo Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Sri Lanka. Established in 1880, this golf course is situated in Colombo 08 which is also known as The Ridgeway Links or The Anderson Golf Course. It is home to the governing body of Golf in Sri Lanka which is the Sri Lanka Golf Union and maintains close ties with the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews in Scotland. The club was maintained at Galle Face Green until June 1896 when it was shifted to its present location. This golf course has 18 holes in total.
