“Raja” was the great tusker who used to carry the sacred relic casket for more than half a century. The Raja Museum is a small building adjacent to the Royal palace, built to honor this great tusker. The dead animal’s skin and tusks are made in a way to exhibit the animal as when it was alive. Many tourists and pilgrims come to visit the museum to have a look at the tusker.
