Puthukkudiyiruppu War Museum is situated along the Parantan-Mullaitivu Highway in Puthukkudiyiruppu, close to Mullaitivu in the northern part of Sri Lanka. Puthukkudiyiruppu is situated near the Nanthikadal lagoon where the Sri Lankan troops defeated the LTTE in 2009. The war museum displays many weapons and assault vehicles which were used by the LTTE and remnants of a ship that was captured by the rebels during the civil war.

From Jaffna travel along the Kandy – Jaffna Highway and the Parantan-Mullaitivu Highway passing Chavakachcheri, Parantan and Visuvamadu up to Puthukkudiyiruppu to reach the Puthukkudiyiruppu War Museum.
