Pallekele International Cricket Stadium is an international cricket stadium situated in Pallekele town in the central province. Established in 2009, the stadium can accommodate 35,000 spectators. This 80 m long and 75 m wide cricket grounds has two ends namely Hunnasgiriya End and Rikillagaskanda End. The stadium is also known as Muttiah Muralitharan International Cricket Stadium in order to honor the legendary Sri Lankan Spinner, Muttiah Muralitharan.
