New Ranweli Spice Garden is situated in Gannoruwa, opposite the suspension bridge of the Peradeniya Botanical Garden. The garden provides an excellent environment to grow cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, peppercorn and many more types of spices and herbs. It shows how to grow these plants in an eco-friendly manner. There is also a souvenir shop to purchase types of exotic spices grown in the garden. It also provides free transport from anywhere in the city to this estate.
