Moray Falls is situated in Moray Estate of the Nuwara Eliya district. It is fed by a stream which originates from the Samanala Mountain Range and ends up at the Maskeliya Reservoir at the bottom of the waterfall. It is 40 meters in height and cascades in 3 segments before finally hitting the bottom.

Getting to Moray Falls

From Nuwara Eliya travel along the Avissawella – Hatton – Nuwara Eliya Highway and the Hatton – Maskeliya – Dalhousie Road passing Nanuoya, Kotagala, Hatton and Dickoya up to Maskeliya. Then travel along the Maskeliya – Upcot Road and turn to Gartmore Road to reach the Moray Falls.
