The white sandy beach compliments well with the turquoise blue water of the sea at Marakolliya. The beach is lined with palm trees and provides a spectacular sight to watch when the turtles come out at night to lay eggs.

From Tangalle travel along Tangalle Road up to Marakolliya to reach the Marakolliya Beach which is situated along Kapuhenwala Road.
