The Lionel Wendt Art Centre is a major theatre and art centre situated in Colombo 7. It is dedicated to the memory of popular Sri Lankan photographic artist Lionel Wendt. The centre combines live theatre and art exhibition, with two exhibition galleries and a theatre which can accommodate more than 600 spectators. It was opened on December 1953.
