Distance from Belihuloya – 21.3 km (55 minutes)

Lanka Ella Fall is situated in the Badulla district, a short distance away from the Bambarakanda Waterfall. It is 32 meters high and gets its name because its base pool resembles a teardrop which also happens to be the shape of Sri Lanka. This pool is very deep and should not be used for bathing.

From Belihuloya travel along the Colombo – Batticaloa Highway up to Kalupahana in the Badulla district to reach the Lanka Ella Fall situated in Kalupahana – Ohiya Road, which is accessible only by foot.
