Lakpahana is the largest craft producer in Sri Lanka and is the marketing arm of the Sri Lanka Craftsmen and Artisans Association. The company provides employment to more than 500 artisans through 15 craft centers spread all over the island. It is a great place to purchase unique hard to find items including exquisite silver jewellery, metal work in silver, brass and copper, woodcarvings, batiks, masks, lacquer ware, pottery, hand woven rush and reed products, Hand embroidered linen, coconut products and many more.
