Distance from Nuwara Eliya – 9.4 km (23 minutes)

Kikiliyamana Mountain is situated in the Nuwara Eliya district. Standing at a height of 2240 m it is the 6th highest mountain of Sri Lanka. The mountain is surrounded by the Kikiliyamana forest reserve and is located close to the highest village of Sri Lanka, Shanthipura. Some transmission towers can be spotted located at the top of the Kikiliyamana Mountain.

Getting to Kikiliyamana Mountain

From Nuwara Eliya travel along the Peradeniya-Badulla-Chenkaladi Highway up to Shanthipura village to reach the Kikiliyamana Mountain which is situated along the Shanthipura Road in Nuwara Eliya.
