Keerimalai Hot Springs is a natural spring which is located in northern Sri Lanka close to Palaly. A bathing tank, which is separated from the springs only by a wall, is built in this location. Though the tank is located close to the springs, its water comes from an underground freshwater spring. It is believed that this underground source of water is connected to the Nilavarai Bottomless Well which is located about 10 km away from here. The location and the spring is popular among Hindus as it is believed to carry miraculous powers.
