Unlike Kalpitiya, Kappalady Lagoon provides a more laid back environment with the same wind and lagoon conditions found in the Kalpitiya Lagoon. The best season for kitesurfing at the Kappalady Kite Lagoon is from June to September. The Kappalady Lagoon is the ideal location for kitesurfing with its warm shallow waters.
