Kande Ela Educational Forest Park is situated along the Blackpool-Ambewela-Pattipola-Horton Plain Road in Pattipola, Nuwara Eliya. Also known as Kande Ela Forest Garden, the park was developed by the Department of Forest Conservation for educational purposes. The Kande Ela Reservoir is also situated close by. The Forest Park is located along the scenic route to Horton Plains National Park. Kande Ela Educational Forest Park is located approximately 1900 m above sea level. Visitors can get a good knowledge on planting trees, forestation and logging etc. at this location. The tour around the park would take about 1.5 – 2 hours.
