Galdola Ella Fall is situated at the 82nd mile post near Rakwana town on the Ratnapura – Pelmadulla Road in Ratnapura district. It is 100 meters high and originates from a tributary of the Rakwana River. The water flows over rock-strewn terrain and its flow is sometimes submerged by rocky outcrops.

Getting to Galdola Ella Fall

From Belihuloya travel along the Colombo – Batticaloa Highway passing Aluthnuwara and Opanayake up to Kahawatta. Then travel along the Pelmadulla – Embilipitiya Highway up to Madampe and then along the Galle-Deniyaya-Madampe Highway up to Rakwana to reach the Galdola Ella Falls.
