Dooli Ella is situated in the southern offset of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve in the Galle district. It is about 60 meters in height. It is not a fall that is visited often but is a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Galle.

A beautiful trail though the Sinharaja Forest Reserve leads to the amazing Dooli Ella Falls. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the serenity of nature. This relatively large waterfall has a pool at the bottom for visitors to put their feet in and feel the coldness of the water.

Getting to Dooli Ella

From Galle travel along the Galle – Udugama Road up to Udugama. Then travel along the Udugama – Hiniduma Road passing Hinduma and Thawalama up to Neluwa to reach the Dooli Ella Falls situated on the Kosmulla Lankagama Road.
