Distance from Nuwara Eliya – 37.5 km (1 hour 11 minutes)

Delta Falls is situated in Pussellawa of the Nuwara Eliya district. It stands at a height of 60 meters and consists of six streams altogether. The source of this waterfall is a tributary of the Kotmale River. This happens to be the place of the first tea plantation in Sri Lanka which proved to be unsuccessful.

People around the area call this waterfall “Helboda Ella” and are not aware of a waterfall called “Delta Falls”. This waterfall is located in the Delta Estate.

Getting to Delta Falls

From Nuwara Eliya travel along the Peradeniya-Badulla-Chenkaladi Highway passing Ramboda and Tawalatenne up to Pussellawa to reach the Delta Falls.
