Bogahapitiya Temple is situated in Jambugahapitiya – Pallethalawinna Road in Kandy. The village of Pallethalawinna has a long history of over 2000 years and it is believed that this is the place where King Dutugemunu planned the final war against Elara. The temple gives a very calm and peaceful appearance set up in a village environment.
