Basilica of Our Lady of Lanka is a Roman Catholic church with Basilica status situated in Thewatta, Ragama. The church comes under the purview of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Colombo and is also is home to the venerated statue of Our Lady of Lanka. It is a site of pilgrimage for the Catholics in Sri Lanka. The church was consecrated in the year 1974 and is also known simply as the Thewatta Church.

Getting to Basilica of Our Lady of Lanka

From Colombo travel along the Negombo – Colombo Road passing Wattala until Ragama. Then travel approximately 3 km along the Thewatta Road to reach the Basilica of Our Lady of Lanka (Thewatta Church) situated in Lankamatha Road.
