Ambanttativu is a small island which is situated off the north western coast of Sri Lanka, in the Puttalam lagoon, close to Kalpitiya. It has a surface area of 0.17 square km and is located 350 m away from the mainland. This small V-shaped island is uninhabited and is covered by mangroves and various other plants.
