Belihuloya is a quaint village which belongs to the Ratnapura district of the Sabaragamuwa province. It is located approximately 150 km south-east of the capital city of Colombo at an elevation of approximately 616 m above sea level. It is a special area which links both the wet and dry zones and the low and hill country forming its own unique climate.
Known as a prime spot for hiking and adventurous activities, one can visit the many amazing attractions including Bambarakanda Falls, Nonpareil Estate Falls, Bopath Ella Waterfall, Kirindi Ella Waterfall, Adara Kanda, Hawagala, Kiribathgala, Samanalawewa, Udawalawe National Park, Batathotalena Cave, Batadombalena Cave and Maha Saman Devalaya.
Although Belihuloya is a heaven for hikers and adventure lovers, it is a beautiful village which can be enjoyed by people of any age due to its unique location and natural sightseeing areas.
