From Belihuloya travel along the Colombo – Batticaloa Highway, Ratnapura – Wewelwatte Road, and Girimale – Siripagama Road passing Aluthnuwara, Balangoda, Kahatapitiya, Welange, Opanayake, Pelmadulla, and Lellopitiya to reach Dumpus Ella which is situated in Gilimale in the Ratnapura district. Passing Gilimale is the Induruwa Bridge. The fall is not visible to the road because of the river bend. The waterfall is accessible by foot. Take the foot path to the left, which you come across as soon as you pass the bridge, and it will take you to Dumpus Ella.
