Kabaragala Ella is a waterfall which is situated in Mandaramnuwara, the ‘misty city’, in the Nuwara Eliya district. This beautiful waterfall is located among the scenic Kabaragala Tea Estate off Elamulla. The hike up to the waterfall takes about 1 hour to complete. It provides amazing views of the surrounding area. The water is very cold. The Department of Wildlife Conservation in Sri Lanka is in charge of the waterfall and its surroundings. The waterfall is also known as “Kiri Ella”.
