Kadugannawa Pass is a mountain pass which is situated along the Colombo – Kandy Road in Kadugannawa in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. It is a popular stop for tourists travelling to and from Colombo to the hill capital. It provides amazing views of the surrounding mountains and valleys including the Bible Rock (Bathalegala), Knuckles Mountain Range, Alagalla Mountain Range and Hanthana Mountain Range. Kadugannawa Pass was one of the main lookout points during the Kandyan era.

Getting to Kadugannawa Pass

From Kandy travel approximately 15 km along the Colombo – Kandy Road passing Peradeniya, Pilimathalawa and Henawala up to Kadugannawa to reach the Kadugannawa Pass.
