The temple is dedicated to Sri Nagapooshani Amman or Parvati and her consort Sri Nayinaar Swami who is also known as Shiva. The temple has a total of four colorful and decorative gopurams, several mandapams or halls and a few tanks. The temple conducts many Hindu festivities all year long.
