Dodan Falls waterfall is situated in Ratnapura, just 1 km away from the famous waterfall “Bopath Ella”. This 53 meters high waterfall cascades in to two sections. The area is rich in wildlife species and is also located near the caves of Batawita and Batalena in Kuruwita where it is believed that early humans once lived.

Getting to Dodan Falls

From Belihuloya travel along the Colombo – Batticaloa Highway passing Aluthnuwara, Balangoda, Kahatapitiya, Opanayake, Pelmadulla, Lellopitiya and Ratnapura up to Kuruwita to reach the Dodan Falls waterfall.
